It's getting personal

As a parent, my email is bombarded with every possible activity in and outside of school. The most urgent information is mixed in with general "FYI" info. Do I miss things? You bet.
Schools I consult typically use email lists (classroom, grade, activities, etc.). However, read rates are low and these get lost among the 100+ other emails. Also, our schools are always challenged maintaining accurate lists.

To break through we need to:

1. Deliver a message that matters to them right now.
2. Reach them where they're looking

Private classroom sites, private social media sites and e-mail lists are all good tools to convey a message. However, a School's App is the only tool that also reaches them on their phone regardless of their language or income. Smartphones are how parents prefer to communicate and access information.

Flyer's school apps are tailored to the school and the parent. Parents can receive all messages or select specific categories that apply.

  • 2nd grade field trip update? Just tag the message for 2nd grade and only those subscribed families will receive that message.
  • Lock Out Alert? Snow Day? Simply select all and notify all families immediate on their phones.

Messages that are parent specific are more likely to be viewed and responded to. Alternatively, continuing to blast parents with irrelevant information only leads to unsubscribes or the trash or junk folder.

Welcome New October Schools

Engaged families have higher achieving students. Propel’s School Apps increase engagement reaching students and families on their phones. District, School, Classroom and PTA information is finally in one accessible place.

We take it personally. Our widespread adoption and usage rates is the result of a highly tailored experience. Families and staff only receive messages that apply to them. Content is specific to their interest and needs. Parents view info in their native language and respond in seconds from their mobile device.
