About Us

Vision

A world where all families have access to the information and resources they require to support their students’ learning needs, to enhance their families’ overall well-being, and to have their voices heard in their communities.

Mission

Equitable Community Engagement: We strive to provide an ecosystem for families and providers to engage one another with Academic and Social Assistance Resources.

About Us

ReachWell is a team of parents, school leaders and young professionals on a social mission to increase student achievement through proven family engagement strategies.

Created by the parent of elementary-aged kids, ReachWell is designed with the family in mind. Frustrated by the fragmented means of school communication including flier stuffed backpacks, missed emails, auto-dialers, teachers' notes, and inaccurate recounts by kindergartners, Zuben Bastani’s goal was to create an equitable platform that is a one-stop-shop for school and community information and communication for every type of family regardless of their income or language.

ReachWell serves hundreds of PK-12 schools, early childhood education programs programs, and community based organizations in both rural and urban areas across the US.

ReachWell is the winner of Colorado Impact Days Education Track and a proud graduate of the Uncharted: Early Childhood Accelerator and the Propel Accelerator.

Zuben Bastani

CEO & Founder

Zuben has spent his career leveraging mobile technologies to increase access and reduce barriers.  In addition to founding ReachWell, a social impact company, he has worked for enterprise and startup organizations in marketing, sales and product management roles.

Zuben launched ReachWell after witnessing legacy communication platforms failing to reach and engage low-income and migrant families at his own child’s school.

After piloting and consulting dozens of school, nonprofit and state leaders about the inequities of family communication, Zuben founded ReachWell with vision of inclusive community engagement. Zuben continues to invest in his local Denver community volunteering on boards and as an advisor to increase equity for students and families.

Zuben holds a BA from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management.

Like most Denver transplants he finds his flow in the Colorado high country trying to keep up on his bike, skis, and river tube!

Katie Facchinello

Director - Marketing & Community Affairs

With more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and government relations, Katie leads ReachWell’s marketing and communications efforts.

Before ReachWell, Katie supported Colorado state and county government agencies and community partners in developing and implementing strategic communications plans related to the field of child welfare and child maltreatment prevention. Through this work, and in additional spaces, she aimed to further the use of inclusive and evidence-based communications and marketing to improve the well-being of children and strengthen families.

Now, on staff with ReachWell, Katie leverages her background in public health and human services to aid our partners in implementing equitable marketing strategies that result in measurable increases in engagement and ensure all communities have access to critical resources and information.

Having grown up in Colorado, she loves spending time with her husband and their two young children as they try to find time to visit their home away from home in Dillon, Colorado. When she’s not working with ReachWell clients, she’s volunteering with the school PTO or reminding herself that she will miss these stressful days when her young children are grown.

Our team is impassioned with increasing equity and access for underserved families. We envision a world where all families are informed, participating, and connected with their schools and the right resources to help them succeed.
