How community partnerships can boost your family engagement

When the Director of Youth Services at Commerce City Parks and Recreation was struggling to promote their programs to local families, she saw the answer on her phone with her school district's Flyer app. After reaching out to Adams 14 School District, Flyer worked with Youth Services to set up an easy way for Parks and Rec to manage their own content on the app and deliver class schedules and events directly to the families of the school district.

Flyer's group messaging feature could also allow Parks and Rec to make announcements and reminders without relying on district or school admins to be an intermediary. The best part is that families can choose what messages they wish to receive simply by opting-out of groups.

We're looking to form more partnerships like this with a wide range of community-based organizations, including food pantries and immigration services, to improve their ability to serve families with school-age children. If you know of any non-profits who would be interested in using Flyer to reach their beneficiaries please let us know--we'd love to be introduced.
